  2. HORSERADISH-GARLIC BURGERS

  6. 3/4 pound prime ground beef

  7. 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

  8. 1 tablespoon roasted garlic paste

  9. 1 teaspoon fresh thyme chopped

  10. 1 teaspoon fresh chives chopped

  11. Salt and pepper

  12. 2 slices havarti cheese

  13. 2 onion rolls

  14. 1 tablespoon butter, -- softened

  15. Waffle-cut potatoes, -- fried for garnish

  16. Preheat a barbecue or stovetop grill to very hot. Combine beef, horseradish,

  17. garlic paste and herbs.

  18. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste. Divide mixture and form 2

  19. firm, round, :-inch

  20. thick patties. Place on hot grill and cook 5 minutes. Meanwhile, slice buns in

  21. half and brush with

  22. butter. Flip burgers and continue to cook 5 more minutes. Place buns, butter

  23. side down, on cooler

  25. cook until cheese
