  1. 8 oz. uncooked curly roni pasta

  2. 2 c. broccoli florets

  3. 1 c. diced sweet red bell pepper

  4. 1 tbsp. butter

  5. 1 tsp. minced garlic

  6. 1 c. 2% low fat cottage cheese

  7. 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

  8. 1/3 c. low fat milk

  9. 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Add broccoli and red pepper to pot; continue cooking until vegetables are just tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Drain in colander and return to pot. Drain in colander and return to pot. Heat butter in a medium saucepan, add garlic and cook until golden; stir in remaining ingredients and heat through. Pour sauce into pasta and vegetables. Toss to coat thoroughly. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
