  2. 3/4 lb. beef sirloin, cut into thin strips

  4. 2 tsp. rice vinegar

  5. 2 tsp. arrowroot starch (or can use cornstarch, but arrowroot starch is better for the South Beach diet)

  6. 4 cups broccoli flowerets, cut into same size pieces

  7. 1-2 T peanut oil (depending on your pan)

  8. 2-3 slices fresh ginger root

  9. 2-3 sliced garlic cloves

  10. sauce:

  11. 1 tsp. ginger puree (also called ground ginger, or use finely minced fresh ginger root)

  12. 1 T soy sauce

  13. 1 T Ponzu sauce

  14. 1/4 cup chicken stock

  15. 1 T arrowroot starch or cornstarch
