  1. 1 cup margarine or butter, softened

  2. 1 cup brown sugar

  3. 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  4. 2 eggs

  5. 1 tsp. vanilla

  6. 1 1/2 to 2 cups flour (add more if it's too moist)

  7. 1 tsp baking soda

  8. 1/2 tsp salt.

  9. 3 cups quick oats

  10. 3 Cups chocolate chips

  11. In a large bowl cream together butter, sugars and vanilla. Beat in egg. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.

  12. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips until well blended.

  13. On a baking sheet place a ball of dough 2 inches between each other.

  14. 350 degrees F. for about 8-10 minutes.
