  1. 10 oz 284g Won-ton wrappers

  2. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Ground beef

  3. 1/2 lb 227g / 8oz Ground pork

  4. 1/2 cup 55g / 1.9oz Carrots - peeled and grated

  5. 1 Bok choy - chopped

  6. 1 Onion - chopped

  7. 2 cups 320g / 11oz Bean sprouts - chopped

  8. 1/2 cup 118ml Soy sauce

  9. 3 tablespoons 45ml Brown sugar

  10. 3 tablespoons 45ml Cornstarch

  11. 1 tablespoon 15ml Rice wine

  12. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Green onions - chopped Black pepper - to taste

  1. Recipe Instructions In wok, combine ground beef and pork, carrots and onions. Cook over medium heat. As meat begins to brown, add remaining vegetables, soy sauce, and sugar. Continue cooking until vegetables are tender and liquid has mostly evaporated. Combine cornstarch with rice, wine and 2 tablespoons cold water. Season meat with pepper and green onions. Stir in cornstarch mixture and cook 1-2 minutes. Place one teaspoon of filling into center of a won-ton wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold four corners into center and seal. Place each won-ton as it is finished on a plate covered with damp towel to prevent drying. Continue filling until all wrappers are used. Fry in hot oil on each side until lightly browned. Drain and serve.
