  2. 1 quantity Pizza Dough (refer recipe)

  3. 1/2 cup/125 ml Tomato Sauce

  4. 1 cup/250 g fresh Ricotta cheese

  5. 2 tbsp finely chopped basil

  6. 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

  7. 1/8 tsp salt

  1. Method :

  2. P repare the pizza dough, substituting half the all-purpose flour with finely ground cornmeal. Set aside to rise.

  3. Oil a 12-inch (30-cm) pizza pan. After 1 1/2 hours, knead the dough for 1 minute, then use your fingertips to press it into the pan.

  4. Spread with the tomato sauce and let rise for 30 minutes.

  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F/220°C/ gas 7. Bake for 25 minutes.

  6. Mix the Ricotta, basil, and salt in a large bowl. Remove the pizza from the oven and spread with the Ricotta mixture. Drizzle with the oil.

  7. Bake for 5 more minutes. Serve hot.
