  1. 1 Stick margarine

  2. 2 oz. Baking chocolate

  3. 1 cup Sugar

  4. 2 Well beaten egg s

  5. 3/4 cup Flour

  6. 1/4 tsp. Salt

  7. 1 tsp. Baking powder

  8. 1 tsp. Vanilla

  9. Chopped nut s

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a double boiler melt margarine and baking chocolate and let it cool slightly. Add sugar and eggs.

  3. Mix together flour, salt, and baking powder. Add this to the chocolate mixture along with vanilla. If desired add chopped nuts.

  4. Pour mixture into greased 7 x 11 pan (if desired may be sprinkled with nuts) and bake 25 to 30 minutes. Do not over bake.

  5. If desired frost with chocolate frosting.
