  1. 3/4 lb 340g / 11oz Lean ground beef

  2. 3/4 lb 340g / 11oz Lean ground pork

  3. 1/2 cup 80g / 2.8oz Converted rice - raw

  4. 1/2 cup 118ml Milk

  5. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Onion - minced

  6. 2 tablespoons 30ml Ketchup

  7. 1 tablespoon 15ml Worcestershire sauce

  8. 2 Eggs - slightly beaten

  9. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  10. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Dry mustard

  11. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Dried marjoram

  12. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Dried thyme

  13. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Pepper

  1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well blended. Pack into a 9x5 (2L) loaf pan, cover with foil, and bake at 350F 180C for 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hrs (removing foil after 30 minutes), or until loaf is well-browned and meat is cooked through with an internal temperature of 106F 70C.

  2. Even when cooked through, meat will still be slightly pink because of the ketchup. Drain off fat, and let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing to serve.
