  1. 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) sesame seeds

  2. 1/3 cup(s) reduced-sodium soy sauce

  3. 1/4 cup(s) rice vinegar

  4. 1 tablespoon(s) toasted sesame oil

  5. 2 clove(s) garlic , minced 1 tablespoon(s) light brown sugar

  6. 1/2 teaspoon(s) chile-garlic sauce (see Ingredient Note)

  7. 1/4 cup(s) chopped scallions

  1. Heat a small dry skillet over low heat. Add sesame seeds and stir constantly until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl and let cool.

  2. Whisk soy sauce, vinegar, oil, garlic, sugar and chile-garlic sauce in another small bowl until the sugar dissolves. Stir in scallions and the sesame seeds.
