  3. 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  4. 3/4 cup almonds, shelled

  1. Instructions Boil sugar, water and lemon juice together to 310 degrees F. Take off the fire and stir in the almonds. Pour into buttered tin. Break in large pieces with a quick jerk of a knife blade when entirely cool.
