  1. 1 c Butter

  2. 4 oz Unsweetened chocolate

  3. 4 Eggs

  4. Pinch salt

  5. 2 c Sugar

  6. 1 c Sifted flour

  7. 1 ts Baking powder

  8. 1 ts Vanilla

  9. 1 c Chopped pecans

  1. Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9′ square baking pan. Melt butter and chocolate in small saucepan over low heat. Stir to blen and set aside to cool.

  2. Beat eggs until light yellow; add salt, sugar, flour, and paking powder. Beat well. Blend in cooled chocolate, vanilla and pecans.

  3. Blend thouroughly.

  4. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before cutting. from:
