  8. 9 lasagna noodles -- no boil type

  9. 1/4 c reduced-calorie margarine

  10. 6 Granny Smith apples -- peeled and sliced

  11. 1/3 c Packed brown sugar

  12. 1/2 c chopped pecans -- toasted

  13. 2 tsps Ground cinnamon

  14. 1 pk lowfat cream cheese -- softened

  15. 1 Egg

  16. 1 tsp Vanilla

  17. 1 c whipping cream -- whipped

  18. 2 tbsps butter

  19. 1/2 c Fresh breadcrumbs

  20. 1/4 c Granulated sugar

  21. 11 x 7 inch baking dish, cover with warm water and soak

  22. minutes. Drain and set aside. Meanwhile, in saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter over

  23. medium heat. Add apples, cover and cook 10 minutes, or until tender, stirring

  24. occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in 3 tbsp. brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon; set aside. Place cream cheese and remaining brown sugar in large

  25. bowl. Beat 3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Fold

  26. whipped cream into cream cheese mixture in thirds and set aside. Melt

  27. remaining butter. In small bowl, combine breadcrumbs, sugar and melted butter.

  28. Spread half of the apple mixture in bottom of same baking dish. Layer with 3

  29. noodles. Spread with half of cream cheese mixture, and layer with 3 more

  30. noodles. Spread with remaining apple mixture and layer with last three

  31. noodles.

  32. Top with remaining cream mixture and sprinkle with breadcrumb mixture. Bake at

  33. 350 F for 30 minutes. Let stand 20 minutes before serving.
