  2. BAKED GUAVAS STUFFED WITH MUSHROOMS & OLIVES

  6. 6 Guavas

  7. 1 tb Oil

  8. 1 c Mushrooms -- chopped

  9. 1 tb Onion -- chopped

  10. 1/2 c Green olives -- chopped

  11. 2 tb Parsley -- chopped

  12. 4 ts Chopped fresh dill weed or 1 t Dried dill

  13. 1/2 ts Each salt and pepper

  14. 1 tb Sesame seeds

  15. To prepare the guavas for stuffing, cut a thin slice

  16. from the top of the guava. With a melon ball scoop or small spoon, remove the seeds and set the guavas aside.

  17. Heat the oil in a skillet. Add mushrooms, onion,

  18. green olives, herbs, salt and pepper; saute until

  19. vegetables are soft. Remove the mixture from the

  20. flame; cool. Stuff the guavas, filling them to the

  21. top.

  22. Place stuffed guavas in a baking dish just large

  23. enough to hold them and sprinkle sesame seeds over the

  24. 325 F. for 1 hour, or until the

  25. fruit is tender. Serve hot.
