  1. 3 lbs boned chuck roast

  2. 3 T flour

  3. 1 T oil

  4. 2 cans stewed tomatoes with celery and onions

  5. 2 C sliced onion

  6. 1 t pepper

  7. 1 t salt

  8. 1 C water

  9. 1/3 C molasses

  10. 1/3 C white vinegar

  11. 1 lb thinly sliced carrots(I didnt have any and used broccoli which was good too)

  12. 1/2 C raisins

  13. 1/2 t ground ginger

  14. 2 hrs. Add the rest of ingredients and simmer additional

  15. 30 min until carrots are tender. Remove roast and separate into bite size pieces and shred with

  16. 2 forks. Return shredded roast to pan. The sauce is delicious--serve with plenty of rice!
