  1. 1 pound ground beef

  2. 1 small onion

  3. 1 clove garlic

  4. 1/2 cup pace salsa

  5. 2 TBS fennel seed

  6. 1 tsp. italian seasoning

  7. 1 tsp. rosemary

  8. 1 tsp. oregano

  9. 2 tsp. sugar

  10. 1 jar spaghetti sauce with sausage

  11. salt & pepper to taste

  12. 1 small curd cottage cheese

  13. 4 eggs

  14. 1 large package Mozzarella cheese

  15. 1 medium package cheddar cheese

  16. 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

  17. Lasagna noodles (the ones that do not need pre-cooked)

  1. Brown beef, add onion and garlic. Add rest of ingredients up to the cheeses.

  2. Mix together cottage cheese, eggs, ¾ package Mozzarella, and cheddar cheese.

  3. Spray 9 x 13 inch pan with pam. in bottom of pan, put layer of meat. top with lasagna noodles, then add layer of cottage cheese mixture. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese. Continue with additional layer of meat, noodles then cheese. Top with additional mozzarella cheese, ans sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  4. Cover and cook in 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes. Take cover off and let the top brown until it bubbles. Let cool before cutting.

  5. Turn off fire alarm -- or put cookie sheet under pan to catch drips!!
