  1. 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour

  2. 2 Cups Sugar

  3. 3 Teaspoons Baking Powder

  4. 3/4 Teaspoon Salt

  5. 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon

  6. 1/2 Teaspoon Mace

  7. 3/4 Cup Butter Or Margarine -- Softened

  8. 2 Teaspoons Vanilla

  9. 1 Cup Buttermilk

  10. 4 Eggs

  11. 1 Cup Chopped Pecans

  1. Preparation : Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, and mace into bowl. Make a well in dry ingredients and add butter, vanilla, and 2/3 cup of buttermilk. Attach bowl and flat beater. turn to stir speed and mix 1 minute. Stop and scrape bowl. Turn to speed 4 and beat 2 minutes. Add remaining buttermilk and eggs. Turn to speed 2 and mix 30 seconds. Stop and scrape bowl. Turn to speed 4 and beat 1 minute. Reduce to stir speed and quickly add pecans, about 15 seconds. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch bundt pan. Bake 375F for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove and cool on wire racks.
