  1. 5 large Sweet potatoes -- quartered

  2. 1/4 cup milk

  3. 2 tablespoons butter

  4. pinch nutmeg salt & pepper to taste 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  5. 2 medium onions -- diced

  6. 1 stalk celery -- finely chopped

  7. 1 medium carrot -- diced

  8. 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  9. 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes

  10. 1 pound lean ground beef

  11. 2 cups cooked roast beef -- diced

  12. 3 tablespoons flour

  13. 1/3 cup beef broth

  14. 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  15. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  16. 375 degrees.

  17. 1. Bring large pot of water to a boil, cook potatoes until tender,

  18. 20 minutes; drain.

  19. 2. Add milk, butter, nutmeg, salt and pepper to potatoes and mash

  20. 3. Saute onions, carrot, and celery in oil over medium heat for minutes. Sprinkle with thyme and chili flakes. 4. Add ground beef, and cook until no longer pink.

  21. 5. Stir in roast beef, sprinkle with flour, then pour in beef broth,

  22. tomato paste,worcestershire ssauce, salt & pepper; stir well. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes.

  23. 6. Spread meat mixture in a square casserole, spread mashed potatoes

  24. 35-45 minutes until heated through.

  25. 7. Place under broiler for 1 minute.
