  6. 5 oz 142g Pitted green olives

  7. 1 1/4 cups 182g / 6.4oz Walnut pieces - chopped very Coarsely

  8. 4 oz 113g Ham - diced

  9. 1 1/4 cups 182g / 6.4oz Grated French Comte cheese - (5 oz)

  10. 1 tablespoon 15ml Unsalted butter

  1. Recipe Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9-inch round cake pan or standard loaf pan. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with a wire whip until well mixed and foamy. Add the oil, milk, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Sift flour and baking powder together. Gradually add to the egg mixture. Beat with a spoon until all Ingredients are incorporated. Do not overmix. Drain the olives well and incorporate them into the dough along with the walnuts, diced ham, and grated cheese. Turn the dough into the cake pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until an inserted knife comes clean. Remove bread from oven. Place on cooling rack for 8 to 10 minutes until slightly cool. Turn the loaf out of the pan. Slice and serve warm. This recipe yields 6 servings.
