  1. 1/2 Noodles - egg, cooked

  2. 3 tablespoons 45ml Olive oil

  3. 1 1/2 cups 165g / 5.8oz Celery - chopped

  4. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Pepper - green, chopped

  5. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Onion - chopped

  6. 1 Cream of chicken soup

  7. 2/3 cup 157ml Milk

  8. 1/2 cup 118ml Sour cream

  9. 2 cups 292g / 10oz Cheese - cheddar, shredded

  10. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Chicken - cooked, chopped

  11. 1 Mushroom pieces - small

  12. 4 oz 113g Pimento - drained, diced

  13. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  14. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Nutmeg

  15. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Pepper

  16. 1/2 cup 46g / 1.6oz Almonds - toasted, slivered

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil. Add celery, peppers and onion. Cook until tender. Stir in soup, milk, sour cream and cheese. heat on low until cheese melts.

  2. Combine noodles, cheese sauce, chicken, mushrooms, pimento and seasonings. Pour into 3-qt baking dish and top with almonds.

  3. Bake in 350F oven for 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
