  11. 1 (64-ounce) can kidney beans

  12. 3/4 cup smoked barbecue sauce

  13. 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  14. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  15. 2 tablespoons liquid smoke

  16. 1/4 cup prepared horseradish

  17. 1/4 cup yellow mustard

  18. 1 cup green bell peppers, chopped

  19. 1 cup onion, chopped

  20. 4 slices bacon, chopped

  21. 2 tablespoons margarine or butter Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Mix beans in large bowl with the barbecue and Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, horseradish and mustard. Set aside.

  2. Sauté over medium heat peppers, onions, bacon, margarine, salt and pepper. Combine with bean mixture and transfer to glass baking dish.

  3. Cover and bake for 50 minutes at 300ºF (150ºC). Uncover and bake 10 more minutes.
