  1. 8 ounce(s) mulitgrain linguine

  2. 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil

  3. 2 clove(s) garlic , minced

  4. 2 tablespoon(s) (diced) shallots

  5. 1/3 cup(s) (dry) white wine , may use chicken broth

  6. 1/4 teaspoon(s) black pepper

  7. 1 jar(s) (26-oz.) tomato sauce

  8. 1 jar(s) (14-oz. water-packed) artichoke hearts , drained and quartered

  9. 1 can(s) (10-oz.) baby clams , undrained

  10. 2 tablespoon(s) (chopped) fresh basil , or 2 tsp. dried basil

  11. 2 tablespoon(s) (chopped) fresh parsley , or 2 tsp. dried parsley

  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package directions.

  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and shallots; sauté 2 minutes, or until tender. Add the wine and the next 4 ingredients; reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in basil and parsley.

  3. Drain pasta and place in a serving bowl. Serve sauce over pasta.
