  1. Chop the sausage (or turkey) and cook over medium heat until browned in dutch oven or soup pot. Meanwhile cut up or tear the kale into bite size pieces. If using fresh tomatoes, dice them. Add remaining ingredients to the meat and cook over med-low heat for 30 minutes.
