  1. 1 c Milk, scalded

  2. 2 tb Corn-starch

  3. 2 tb Sugar

  4. 2 tb Cold water

  5. 1/2 ts Vanilla

  6. Few grains salt

  1. Combine sugar, corn-starch, salt, and water.

  2. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.

  3. Cook over hot water until thick and smooth.

  4. Stir frequently.

  5. Add vanilla.

  6. Pour into wet molds.

  7. Chill.

  8. Serve with cream, or any desired sauce.

  9. If desired, 1 square chocolate may be combined and cooked with the pudding ingredients.
