  1. 1 1/4 cup(s) all-purpose flour

  2. 3/4 cup(s) sugar

  3. 1/2 cup(s) (1 stick) margarine or butter , softened 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract

  4. 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda

  5. 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt

  6. 1 large egg

  7. 8 ounce(s) white chocolate, Swiss confectionery bar, or white baking bar , chopped 1 jar(s) (7 ounces) macadamia nuts , chopped

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Into large bowl, measure first 7 ingredients. With mixer at medium speed, beat ingredients until blended, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. With spoon, stir in white chocolate and macadamia nuts.

  2. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoons, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased large cookie sheet. Bake cookies 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned. With pancake turner, remove cookies to wire rack to cool. Repeat with remaining dough. Store cookies in tightly covered container.
