  1. 4 Pork chops - about 1-1/4-inches t

  2. 1 teaspoon 5ml Grated lemon peel

  3. 4 Crushed garlic cloves

  4. 1/4 cup 59ml Grated ginger root

  5. 1 tablespoon 15ml Chili powder

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground coriander

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Black pepper

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Crushed red chiles

  9. 3 tablespoons 45ml Water

  1. Place all ingredients except pork chops in blender container; blend until smooth and spread about 2 teaspoons of paste on each chop, covering both sides.

  2. Cover chops and refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours.

  3. Prepare medium-hot grill in kettle-style covered grill.

  4. Grill chops directly over coals for 7 to 8 minutes per side.

  5. Serve immediately.
