  1. 1 c. butter

  2. 1 c. sugar

  3. 2 eggs

  4. 3 ripe bananas, mashed

  5. 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour

  6. 1 tsp. baking soda

  7. 1/2 c. chopped pecans

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating well after each addition. Stir in bananas, flour, soda and nuts. Mix until just blended.

  2. Bake in a greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan at 300 degrees for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
