  2. 1, 16 ounce, can Veg-All mixed vegetables

  3. 1 deep dish pie crust

  4. 1 pound ground beef

  5. 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

  6. 1 egg

  7. 2 tablespoons milk

  8. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  9. Brown sauce :

  10. 2 tablespoons butter

  11. 2 tablespoons flour

  12. 1 cup beef broth

  13. 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco pepper sauce

  1. Prepare brown sauce base by browning flour in melted butter, stirring constantly.

  2. Stir in broth and Tabasco sauce.

  3. Simmer, stirring constantly until sauce thickens and comes to a boil.

  4. Add Veg-All drained, browned ground beef drained and salt to brown sauce. Mix well.

  5. Pierce deep dish pie crust with fork in several places and bake at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.

  6. Pour meat mixture into pie crust.

  7. Mix together grated Cheddar cheese, egg and milk.

  8. Pour over meat mixture in pie plate.

  9. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees F or until cheese topping is lightly browned.
