  1. 1 lb Pressed bean curd, slivered

  2. 1 tb Sesame oil

  3. 2 ts Salt

  4. 1 ts Brown sugar

  5. 2 tb Dry sherry

  6. 2 tb Soy sauce

  7. 1/2 c Sweet corn

  8. 1 c Chopped tomatoes

  9. 1 c Green peas

  10. 4 ea Green onions, sliced

  11. Cooking oil

  12. 1 l Stock or water

  1. Heat 4 tb cooking oil in a wok or pan & fry bean curd till golden.

  2. Remove & drain.

  3. Fry green onion for 30 seconds, add the rest of the vegetables & fry for another 1 minute.

  4. Add remaining ingredients except stock & mix well.

  5. Transfer to a soup pot.

  6. Add stock, gently stir & heat.

  7. Serve hot.
