  2. 2 3/4 cups boiling water over

  3. 3 shredded wheat biscuits, add

  4. 1/2 cup molasses,

  5. 2 tablespoons Crisco,

  6. 1 rounded teaspoon salt. Dissolve a package dry yeast in

  7. 1/4 cup warm water. Add to other ingredients. Then sift and add

  8. 8 cups flour. Stir real good. If you have dough hooks with mixer use them but be sure you only add flour a few cups at a time. Dough will be sticky. Let it rise to double bulk, then put on floured board and knead lightly. Place in

  9. 2 bread tins if they are large or medium bread pans you can use

  10. 3. Be sure you grease them. Then let dough rise to double again. Bake in

  11. 375 degree oven,

  12. 35 minutes or until it sounds hollow when you knock on it.

  13. You can substitute honey, syrup, or maple syrup in place of the molasses.

  14. If you use 2 bread pans the loaves will be really high. This bread is particularly good toasted for breakfast.
