  1. Pineapple Casserole

  2. 1/4 lb. butter, melted

  3. 1/2 cup sugar

  4. 1 tbsp. flour

  5. Salt

  6. 2 beaten eggs

  7. 20 oz can crushed pineapple and juice

  8. 5 slices broken bread

  9. Preheat oven to 3250 F.

  10. Mix all ingredients except the bread. Then add the bread. Bake

  11. 1 quart casserole for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

  12. I think I actually use a larger dish than a 1 quart casserole but

  13. I'm not sure of the capacity.

  14. Also, I have made this casserole substituting 2 1/2 cups of thick

  15. applesauce, unsweetened, for the pineapple. If you try this, add

  16. 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon to the applesauce. This is a nice side

  17. dish to serve with ham, pork roast, or turkey.
