  5. 12 ea Strips lasagne; to

  6. 4 tb Olive oil

  7. 1 lg Onion; chopped

  8. 2 cl Garlic; crushed

  9. 2 1/4 oz Packet TVP® mince

  10. 3 ea 16 oz cans chopped tomatoes

  11. 1 ts Oregano

  12. ;Salt and pepper to taste

  13. ;stock or veg water

  14. 1 c Cottage cheese

  15. 1 c Cheddar; grated

  16. Preheat oven 350.

  17. Place lasagne strips in saucepan, cover with water,

  18. and boil for a few minutes until they are starting to

  19. soften. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and saute the onion

  20. and garlic. Add the TVP® mince, chopped tomatoes with

  21. their juice, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer 20-30

  22. mins, adding a little stock or water if necessary to

  23. make a moist sauce. Remove from heat.

  24. Pour a layer of tomato sauce in a deep, large baking

  25. dish. Spoon a layer of cottage cheese over the sauce,

  26. then arrange a layer of lasagne over that, followed by

  27. a layer of grated cheddar. Repeat this layering

  28. process until you are about 1 1/2 inches away from the

  29. top of the baking dish. Finish with a layer of tomato

  30. sauce topped by a final layer of cheddar cheese.

  31. Bake the lasagne 30 mins, until the cheese is brown

  32. and bubbly.
