  1. Roast turkey pan drippings , strained 3 1/2 tablespoon(s) all-purpose flour

  2. 1 can(s) (14 1/2 ounces) low-sodium chicken broth

  3. 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt

  4. 1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper

  1. Pour the liquid from the roasting pan into a measuring cup, reserving the solids.

  2. Skim the fat from the turkey drippings, reserving 3 tablespoons of it.

  3. Add the reserved fat back into the roasting pan and place the roasting pan over a burner set on medium high heat.

  4. Whisking constantly, add the flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add the reserved drippings, chicken broth, salt, and pepper and cook over medium heat until smooth and thickened -- about 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
