  1. 3 large peaches, peeled and sliced into a cooked pastry shell

  2. 2 large peach es, peeled and mashed

  3. 1 cup sugar

  4. 3 Tbsp cornstarch

  5. 1/2 cup water

  6. 2 Tbsp Water

  7. 1 tsp almond extract

  1. Combine the mashed peaches, sugar, cornstarch and water in a sauce pan. Cook on the stove until it is thickened—approximately 5 minutes. Cool. Add 2 tbsp butter and 1 tsp almond to the cooled mixture. Pour over peaches in cooked shell. Refrigerate and serve with sweetened whipped cream.
