  2. 1 pound ground beef

  3. 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes

  4. 1 medium onion, sliced thin

  5. 1 can cheddar cheese soup

  6. 1 soup can milk

  7. 1, 15 oz., can tomato sauce

  8. Salt and pepper to taste

  9. 1/2 teaspoon oregano

  10. 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  11. 1 tablespoon butter

  12. 6 ounces sliced mozzarella cheese

  13. 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Cook ground beef in skillet until it loses redness.

  3. Place potatoes and onions in buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Add meat to mixture.

  4. Mix cheese soup and milk until smooth and add to meat and potatoes. Mix together.

  5. Combine tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano and sugar.

  6. Pour sauce over the top, but do not mix.

  7. Dot with butter. Cover pan with foil.

  8. Bake at 375 degrees F for 1 hour.

  9. Remove cover and arrange sliced cheese on top.

  10. Sprinkle with parmesan.

  11. Return to oven, uncovered, for about 15 minutes or until cheese bubbles.
