  1. 1 qt chicken broth

  2. 1/4 lb pork , cut into narrow strips

  3. (coat pork in 1 tsp sherry and 1 Tbs cornstarch)

  4. 1/4 cup bamboo shoot s, slivered

  5. 4-5 black mushroom s, hydrated then slivered. Reserve liquid

  6. 1/4 cup cloud ears, hydrated in water

  7. 1/4 cup golden needles

  8. 3 Tbs white vinegar

  9. 1/2 tsp white pepper

  10. 1 tsp hot pepper oil

  11. 2 tsp sesame oil

  1. Bring chicken broth to a boil, add pork and remaining ingredients. Thicken with 2 Tbs cornstarch added to 1 cup of liquid reserved from hydrating black mushrooms. Lower heat and stir in one whisked egg. Serve
