  3. 1 chicken -- cut up

  4. 2 quarts water

  5. 1 tablespoon salt

  6. 1 teaspoon accent

  7. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  8. 1 leek/onion chopped

  9. 1 carrot -- chopped

  10. 2 stalks celery -- chopped

  11. 1/4 cup parsley -- chopped

  12. 1/2 teaspoon marjoram or basil

  13. 1 bay leaf

  14. 6 ounces package noodles

  1. Place all ingredients (except noodles) in the crock pot. >> Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Remove chicken parts and bay leaf from pot. Trim meat from bones, dice, and return to broth, along with the noodles. Cook an hour longer or until noodles are done. (noodles will cook in 20 to 30 minutes on high heat setting.)
