  1. 1 thick salmon fillet , skinned and sliced into 2cm-thick strips

  2. 2 tsp clear honey

  3. 2 tsp soy sauce pinch dried red chilli flakes

  4. 1 strip egg noodles , cooked, drained and tossed in

  5. 1 tsp sesame oil

  6. 3-4 spring onions , sliced chopped vegetables , of your choice, such as red paper and baby sweet corn handful bean sprouts

  7. 2 large handfuls spinach leaves small handful sunflower seeds

  8. 1 tbsp sesame seeds , toasted

  1. Honey-coated salmon with spinach and sesame noodles Method 1. Put the salmon in a bowl with the honey, soy sauce and chilli flakes and toss until well coated.

  2. Heat a non-stick frying pan or wok over a high heat, add the sesame oil and, when hot, cook the salmon for about 1 minute on each side or until golden (reserving any of the honey and soy left behind in the dish).

  3. Remove from the pan and keep warm.

  4. For the noodles: heat the sesame oil in the wok or pan and quickly fry the noodles, spring onion, chopped vegetables and bean sprouts until the noodles are heated through.

  5. Add the spinach, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and any remaining honey and soy mixture from the salmon. Toss until the spinach is starting to wilt.

  6. To serve, tip the noodles and spinach mixture into a serving bowl, top with the honey-seared salmon and serve straight away.
