  1. 2 1/2 tb Butter

  2. 2 c Brown Sugar

  3. 2 tb Molasses

  4. 1/2 c Condensed Milk

  5. 4 oz Unsweetened Chocolate

  6. 1 ts Vanilla

  7. 1 c Chopped Nuts

  1. Melt the butter, add the sugar, molasses and the milk and bring to a boil.

  2. Cut the chocolate in small pieces and add, stirring constantly until the chocolate is melted.

  3. Boil until the caramel forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.

  4. Add the extract and the nuts and pour into a greased pan.

  5. Cool a little and when fairly firm, cut in squares.
