  1. 6 md Apples

  2. 3 tb Butter

  3. 12 Graham crackers

  4. 3 tb Lemon juice

  5. 1/2 c Brown sugar or maple syrup

  6. 1 c Water

  7. 1 c Walnuts, chopped

  8. 1/4 ts Nutmeg

  9. 8-inch baking dish in alternate layers with crumb mixture. Dot top with butter and pour lemon juice and water over all. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Cover and bake in slow oven at
