  1. 4 cups wild rice -- cooked

  2. 1 pound lean ground beef -- uncooked

  3. 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  4. 1 cup dry bread crumbs

  5. 1 cup onion -- finely chopped

  6. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  7. 2 eggs -- beaten

  8. 1 1/4 teaspoons salt

  9. 1 teaspoon ground sage

  10. 3/4 teaspoon pepper

  11. 9x5x3" loaf pan. Bake, uncovered, at

  12. 350 degrees for 70 min. Cover with foil during the last

  13. 15 minutes if the top is browning too quickly.
