  1. 1, 15 oz canned salmon , drained and bones removed

  2. panko bread crumbs, enough to bind or any other dried white bread crumbs or even cracker crumbs

  3. 1 egg

  4. 2 Tbs Jack Daniels barbecue sauce

  5. 1 tsp Jack Daniel's whiskey or to taste

  6. cajun seasoning to taste or use salt and pepper

  7. 1 Tbs fresh minced parsley

  8. cracker crumbs ( season with a bit of cajun seasoning )

  9. oil to fry

  1. Combine slamon, egg, parsley, Jack Daniel's barbecue sauce and whiskey and enough dried breadcrumbs to bind mixture so it will be firm enough to shape into patties.

  2. I usually get about 5 nice size ones .

  3. After forming in patties dust both sides well with cracker crumbs.

  4. Fry golden both sides in hot oil ( I used peanut ).

  5. Place absorbant paper a few minutes and then remove and serve.

  6. Serve as is with assorted salads and sides sides or place in buns for a salmon burger.
