  1. 1 Tomato (about 8-oz.)

  2. 1 ts Sesame oil

  3. 1/4 ts MSG

  4. 1/4 ts White pepper

  5. 1 tb Salt

  6. 3 tb Oil

  7. 1 c Julienne celery

  8. 1 c Thinly slice onion

  9. 1/2 c Julienne carrot

  10. 3 c Shredded cabbage

  11. 6 c Chicken stock

  12. 1/2 ts Tabasco

  1. Blanch tomato for half a minute and slip off skin.

  2. Remove seeds and cut into small pieces.

  3. In boiling chicken stock add cabbage, carrot, onion and celery and bring to boil again.

  4. Reduce heat and cook until tender.

  5. Saute' tomato in 3 tablespoons oil.

  6. Add to soup with salt, pepper and MSG (if used).

  7. Cook for another 3 to 4 minutes and add sesame oil and Tabasco (if used).
