  5. INGREDIENTS:

  6. 1 Rabbit

  7. 2 oz Flour

  8. 2 c Breadcrumbs

  9. 2 lg Cooking apples

  10. 1 ts Thyme

  11. 1 ts Salt

  12. 1 Egg

  13. 2 oz Butter

  14. Stock

  15. 1 lg Onion

  16. 2 ts Parsley

  17. 1 ts Sugar

  18. 1 oz Butter

  19. Pepper to taste

  20. DIRECTIONS: Wash and dry rabbit. Chop onions and fry

  21. gently in 2 oz of the butter. Peel apples and chop;

  22. add to onions and fry until soft. Mix onions, apple

  23. and butter with all other stuffing ingredients, and brown quickly in remaining butter. Place rabbit in a

  24. casserole, stuff, surround with excess stuffing, add

  25. well-seasoned stock, and cook for 1 3/4 hours, or until tender, at 350 degrees. --
