  1. 1 cup all-purpose flour

  2. 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

  3. 2 teaspoons baking powder

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  5. 1 large egg

  6. 1/2 cup honey

  7. 1/2 cup milk

  8. 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  1. Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.

  2. Combine flours, baking powder and salt in a small bowl; set aside.

  3. In another bowl, whisk egg, honey, milk and oil until smooth. Add dry ingredients, mixing just until moistened.

  4. Fill prepared muffin tins three-fourths full.

  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until muffins test done. Cool in pan on wire rack.
