  1. 125g (4 oz) fresh basil leaves

  2. 175g (6 oz) chopped walnuts

  3. 4 cloves garlic, peeled

  4. 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  5. 250ml (9 fl oz) olive oil

  6. salt and pepper to taste
