  1. 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (I use Ghirardelli)

  2. 3 tablespoons butter

  3. 1/2 cup heavy cream (whipping cream)

  4. 1 tablespoon coffee-flavored liqueur

  1. Over a double boiler* on low heat, combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, and butter.

  2. Stir until chips are melted and mixture is smooth.

  3. Remove from heat, stir in coffee liqueur.

  4. Serve warm.

  5. *Can also be melted in the microwave on a low temperature, stirring occasionally and being sure not to burn the chocolate.
