  1. Instructions Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together, rub in vegetable shortening with tips of fingers, then add milk.

  2. Pat and roll out dough, cut with cutter, brush with melted vegetable shortening, place one on top of another, lay on vegetable shorteninged tin and bake in hot oven from ten to twelve minutes.

  3. Sufficient for twelve biscuits.
