  1. 4 c Fresh blueberries

  2. 1 c Water

  3. 3 tb Fresh lemon juice

  4. 2 tb Cornstarch

  5. 3 tb Sugar

  6. 1 1/2 pt Lemon sorbet

  7. 2 c Fresh blueberries

  1. lemon peel, thinly sliced (yellow part only) fresh lemon balm or mint sprigs SAUCE: Combine 4 cups fresh blueberries (or frozen), water, lemon juice and cornstarch in heavy large saucepan.

  2. Stir over medium-high heat until mixture boils and thickens.

  3. Cool slightly.

  4. Puree mixture in processor or blender until smooth.

  5. Mix in sugar.

  6. Refrigerate until chilled, about 3 hours.

  7. (Can be prepared 2 days ahead.

  8. ) Scoop sorbet into goblets.

  9. Spoon sauce over.

  10. Top with fresh berries.

  11. Garnish with lemon peel and lemon balm.
