  1. 1 pound ground beef

  2. 2 large onions, sliced

  3. 3 medium carrots, sliced

  4. 3 stalks celery, diced fine

  5. 8 cups beef broth

  6. 1 head cabbage, shredded

  7. 6 oz. tomato paste

  8. 3 tablespoons parsley

  9. 2 tablespoons sour cream

  1. Instructions Brown beef in pan and pour off excess fat. Transfer beef to a large pot. Add the onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add broth and bring to a boil. Add tomato paste and shredded cabbage. Turn heat down to a low simmer and cover. Simmer for 1 hour. Top with dill and sour cream before serving. .
