    1. for Anchovy Sauce Recipe

    2. 1 cup broth or stock

    3. 4 anchovies

    4. 1 tablespoon butter

    5. 1 teaspoon capers

    6. 1 tablespoon flour

    1. Wash and dry the anchovies, remove the bones, and cut up fine.

    2. Dredge them lightly with flour and fry them five minutes in the butter without browning.

    3. Add the broth or stock and let simmer fifteen minutes.

    4. Add the crushed capers, and salt and pepper, if needed.

    5. Serve very hot with roast or boiled beef.
